Candidates preparing for the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) can now print their examination slips, following a fresh directive from the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB).
The board, on its X official page, has announced that the slip, which contains the exam date, venue and time, is now available on its official portal. Candidates have been asked to visit the website and print the document ahead of the examination.
The move clears the air after a false message circulated online which claimed that the examination had been postponed. The board dismissed the notice and described it as fake and warned candidates not to rely on unverified information.

The UTME is scheduled to begin on April 16 and end on April 25, 2026.
Earlier, the board had conducted a mock test on March 28 to test its system. Over 224,000 candidates registered for the exercise, but about 152,000 eventually sat for it across 989 centres nationwide. Some centres faced technical issues which led to the removal of more than 20 centres from the system.
Also, the board raised concern over reports of fraud. It warned candidates to avoid individuals or groups claiming they can boost scores. Such acts, according to the board, are criminal and could lead to cancellation of results or disqualification.
Candidates are advised to print their slips early and confirm their exam details to avoid last-minute confusion.
