After a two-week working vacation in Lagos, President Bola Tinubu has returned to Abuja.
His time in the commercial capital included the Eid al-Adha festivities and a series of high-profile engagements.

Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State and other state officials were present at Murtala Mohammed International Airport to see President Tinubu off.
Since his arrival in Lagos on May 27, 2025, Mr Tinubu’s schedule has been packed.
He notably took part in the 50th-anniversary commemoration of ECOWAS in Lagos State and joined fellow Muslims for Eid al-Adha prayers.
His stay also featured the commissioning of multiple projects and numerous meetings with dignitaries at his home.
Among the significant events, the President inaugurated Phase 1, Section 1 of the Lagos-Calabar Coastal highway on May 31.
This was followed five days later by the groundbreaking for the Lekki Deep Seaport access road reconstruction, witnessed by leading industry figures and government representatives.

Following his return to Abuja, Mr Tinubu’s agenda immediately included an inauguration event.
