President Bola Tinubu has extended warm felicitations to the Catholic Bishop of Sokoto Diocese, Matthew Kukah, on the occasion of his 73rd birthday.
He commended his significant contributions to Nigeria’s democratic journey and national reconciliation.

In a statement released by the Presidency, Tinubu praised the cleric for his unwavering commitment to fostering peace, justice, and interfaith harmony in the country.
The President highlighted Bishop Kukah’s pivotal role in shaping Nigeria’s democratic landscape, particularly through his advocacy for national dialogue and electoral reforms.
“Bishop Kukah has been a beacon of hope, tirelessly promoting unity and human development,” Tinubu said.

Kukah, a renowned scholar and vocal advocate for good governance, has been instrumental in mediating conflicts and fostering interfaith collaboration, especially in Nigeria’s volatile regions.
