President Bola Tinubu has appointed a new Director-General and executive directors for the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) to revitalise the agency and enhance its service delivery.
The new appointees are Rotimi Pedro (South-West) as Director-General, Karimah Bello (North-West) as Executive Director of Marketing, Stella Din Jacob (North-Central) as Executive Director of News, and Sophia Essahmed (North-East) as Managing Director of NTA Enterprises Limited.
Tinubu tasked the new leadership to collaborate and drive innovation to reposition NTA as a leading broadcast agency.

He said the appointments reflected a strategic move to strengthen the agency’s operations and align with modern broadcasting standards.
The new team was expected to bring fresh perspectives and expertise to elevate NTA’s role in delivering quality content and services to Nigerians.
