In a strategic move to deepen youth involvement in politics, entrepreneurship, and national development, Seyi Tinubu, son of President Bola Tinubu, recently met with some of Nigeria’s most prominent young Igbo billionaire businessmen under the ‘Change Nigeria’ initiative.
The high-profile meeting took place at The Delborough Lagos, an award-winning luxury venue located in Victoria Island, Lagos. Present at the gathering were Obi Cubana, Stanley Uzochukwu (CEO of The Delborough and Stanel Group), E-Money, Zenco, Ituma Enviable, Hon. Chima Anyaso, and other influential entrepreneurs of Igbo descent.
Presiding over the meeting, Seyi Tinubu emphasised the need for collaboration across ethnic and business lines to foster innovation, legitimate enterprise, and sustainable political engagement by the youth — all in the spirit of building a stronger Nigerian economy and future.
Obi Cubana, in a reflective Instagram post following the event, expressed optimism about the gathering’s shared vision for national transformation.
“An entire day with great minds with shared visions, mission and goals; united in same purpose – unity, peace and prosperity! Welcome to the future!!!” he wrote.
Cubana also urged Nigerians to always act with integrity and within the bounds of the law:
“Our expressions and methods of advocating for change may differ, but what truly matters is the outcome we achieve… Whatever you do, let it be guided by a clear conscience and aligned with the rule of law.”
The meeting is part of an ongoing series of engagements by the Change Nigeria initiative, aimed at harnessing the energy, creativity, and influence of Nigeria’s youth and entrepreneurs towards national development.
