Senator Ned Nwoko, representing Delta North Senatorial District, has extended warm birthday wishes to the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda, on the occasion of his 57th birthday.
In a statement issued on Friday and made available to the News Agency of Nigeria, Nwoko described Yilwatda as a principled and visionary leader whose career has reflected unwavering dedication to service and nation-building.
He praised Yilwatda’s emergence as APC National Chairman as both a recognition of his proven leadership capacity and a challenge to guide the ruling party towards unity and effective governance.
“At 57, you exemplify resilience, clarity of vision, and an unshakable commitment to the ideals that strengthen both party and country,” the senator said.
Nwoko expressed confidence in Yilwatda’s ability to meet the demands of his office, adding that his tenure held the promise of “building bridges, fostering unity, and leaving a legacy of purposeful leadership.”
In a separate message, Senator Nwoko also congratulated Chief Ighoyota Amori, a veteran politician and Delta State chieftain, on his 73rd birthday anniversary.
Describing Amori as a “consummate politician, seasoned statesman, and respected mentor,” Nwoko commended his decades-long contributions to Nigeria’s political development.
“Chief Amori embodies resilience, strategic thinking, and a deep commitment to the advancement of our democracy,” he stated.
Nwoko also acknowledged Amori’s bridge-building efforts, his guidance to the younger generation of political actors, and his unrelenting focus on national unity and progress.
“As he celebrates this milestone, I join family, friends, and associates in honouring a life of impact, vision, and dedication,” he added, wishing Amori continued good health and wisdom.
