The Rivers State Police Command has announced the voluntary surrender of two suspects previously declared wanted in connection with the alleged assault and conspiracy involving the Sole Administrator of Ahoada East Local Government Area (LGA), Hon. Goodluck Iheanachor.
Mr Hector Ekakita, Chief Security Officer (CSO), and Mr Aloni Olodi, Chief of Staff (COS), turned themselves in at the State Police Headquarters on Moscow Road, Port Harcourt, at about 3 p.m. on Wednesday.
Recall that on 6 July, New Daily Prime reported the duo and 30 other persons had been declared wanted over allegations bordering on criminal conspiracy, stealing, and assault occasioning harm.

Upon the conclusion of an interview conducted by the State Commissioner of Police (CP) and management team following their arrival, the duo were later transferred to the Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) for further investigation.
In a statement signed by the Force Public Relations Officer, Grace Iringe-Koko, the Command urged members of the public with relevant information to come forward, stressing that such cooperation is vital to the investigation.
Reassuring residents, the CP stated that the Command “remains committed to maintaining law and order in Rivers State and assures the public that the investigation will be thorough and transparent.”
The Command reiterated its dedication to justice and public safety, promising accountability in handling the sensitive case.
