The Osun State chapter of the Judiciary Staff Union of Nigeria (JUSUN) has refuted recent reports claiming its members are on a three-day warning strike.
The union’s Chairman, Comrade Idris Adedayo Adeniran, clarified on Thursday that their industrial action is an indefinite strike that remains in effect.

In a statement, Adeniran described the reports as “false, baseless, and maliciously designed to undermine our legitimate struggle.”
He urged JUSUN members and stakeholders to remain vigilant and united in their pursuit of justice and fairness.
To reinforce its resolve, the JUSUN State Executive Council invited its members to a solidarity rally scheduled for Thursday at the Osun State Judiciary headquarters.
The gathering, which was to take place at the High Court Gate at 8:00 a.m., aimed to demonstrate the union’s unity and demand for justice.
The union reiterated its key demands, which include “timely promotions, improved welfare, and better working conditions for all judiciary staff.”
Adeniran called these demands “legitimate, reasonable, and long overdue” and insisted that the strike would continue until they are met.
He also maintained that official recognition from the Judicial Service Commission, led by Chief Judge Adepele Ojo, is essential for the strike to end.
