Ondo State Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, has pledged that his administration will operate with inclusivity, transparency, and accountability, with a focus on the welfare and best interests of the state’s citizens.
Speaking during the 2025 first working day prayer meeting at the Governor’s Office in Akure on Thursday, Aiyedatiwa reaffirmed his commitment to selflessness, dedication, and love in governance.
Reflecting on 2024, the governor expressed gratitude for the successes achieved despite the challenges faced, highlighting that peace and stability had been restored in the state.
He emphasised ongoing infrastructure projects, the implementation of the new minimum wage, and various social welfare initiatives, including scholarships for indigenous students and the recruitment of critical personnel.
Aiyedatiwa also promised continued support for security efforts, underscoring the state’s status as one of the safest in Nigeria.
He called on public servants and political officeholders to remain committed to the state’s progress and announced plans for a retreat to align top government officials with the administration’s goals for the year.
