In a significant move to alleviate the impact of economic hardship on vulnerable populations, First Lady Oluremi Tinubu has distributed over 1,200 bags of rice to less privileged women in Anambra State. Each bag weighs 25 kilograms, aimed at providing much-needed support to families struggling to make ends meet.
The distribution event, held on Friday, October 25, underscores the First Lady’s commitment to empowering women and addressing food insecurity in the region.

“The aim of this initiative is to reach out to those in need and provide some relief during these trying times,”
“We must come together to support one another and uplift our communities.” Tinubu stated.
The initiative received positive feedback from local leaders and beneficiaries, who expressed gratitude for the timely assistance.
