The Executive Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Ola Olukoyede, has congratulated Muslims across Nigeria on the celebration of Eid-el-Fitr, urging them to uphold the values of discipline, self-denial and anti-corruption beyond the Ramadan season.
Olukoyede gave the charge in Abuja on Friday, March 20, 2026, in his Sallah message to the nation.
He noted that the Ramadan fast had provided an opportunity for Muslims to demonstrate strong faith, sacrifice and commitment to righteous living, calling on them not to abandon those virtues after the holy month.
“As we celebrate Eid-el-Fitr, let us continue to reverence the values of discipline, self-denial, purity, anti-corruption and commitment to higher ideals of life which the Ramadan season truly imbued in us,” he said.
The EFCC chairman added that the conduct exhibited during Ramadan should reflect in everyday life and contribute to national development.
