Prospective Corps Members (PCMs) have been advised to strictly follow the approved schedule to ensure a smooth transition into camp activities.
Camp registration is scheduled to run from Wednesday, 21 January to Friday, 23 January, ending at midnight.
The swearing-in ceremony will take place on Friday, 23 January 2026, while the closing ceremony is slated for Tuesday, 10 February 2026.
The Director-General of the NYSC, Brigadier General Olakunle Nafiu, extended his best wishes to all PCMs as they prepare to travel to their various states of deployment.
However, emphasising the scheme’s commitment to the security of its members, Nafiu issued a stern advisory against night journeys.
He urged all graduates to plan their trips during daylight hours and to stay overnight in safe locations—such as military barracks or NYSC secretariats—if they are unable to reach their destination before nightfall.
“The security and welfare of our Corps Members remain our top priority. We advise all prospective members to avoid night travel and ensure they arrive at their designated camps safely,” Nafiu stated.
