The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has extended the online registration period for its 2025 Batch ‘C’ mobilisation by an additional 48 hours, following complaints of network difficulties from prospective corps members.
The extension was announced in a statement released on Friday by the scheme’s Director of Information and Public Relations, Caroline Embu.
According to the NYSC, the delay experienced by some prospective corps members (PCMs) during the registration process was caused by network-related challenges affecting the system.
“The management of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has noted the difficulties being faced by some Prospective Corps Members in the ongoing registration for the 2025 Batch ‘C’ mobilisation,” the statement read.
“The longer than usual time it is taking some PCMs to complete the registration is as a result of network issues,” it added.
While expressing regret over the inconvenience caused, the NYSC assured applicants that its technical team was working “round the clock” to resolve the disruptions and ensure a smooth registration process.
“In view of this regrettable development, management has extended the registration period by 48 hours till midnight of Tuesday, November 11, 2025, to enable our enthusiastic PCMs conclude their registration,” Embu stated.
The scheme also appealed to applicants to remain calm and patient as efforts continue to restore full service.
Online registration for the 2025 Batch ‘C’ mobilisation originally began on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, and was scheduled to close on Sunday, November 9, 2025, before the extension was announced.
The NYSC further reaffirmed its commitment to providing efficient service delivery to both locally and foreign-trained graduates participating in the national youth programme.
