NNPC holds aptitude test today for 45,689 applicants

The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC) today began its computer-based aptitude test for 45,689 candidates jostling for in the company.

The New Daily had reported that NNPC in a statement by its spokesperson , Olufemi Soneye disclosed that the recruitment process is part of efforts to fill vacancies announced on July 25, 2024.

Interested candidates had been directed to apply via the company’s careers portal.
Also, providing updates regarding the recruitment on its X (formerly Twitter) page, the national oil firm assured the public that the recruitment exercise would prioritise transparency and fairness, selecting only the most qualified candidates.

During a visit to the Ansar-Ud-Deen Society Centenary Resource Centre in Maitama, Abuja, one of the test centres, NNPC Chief Executive Officer Mele Kyari emphasised the firm’s commitment to a credible recruitment process.

Kyari highlighted the inclusion of provisions to ensure that applicants with disabilities could participate seamlessly.

“As an equal opportunity employer, NNPC Ltd. has ensured that every applicant, regardless of their circumstances, can take the test without barriers,” he said in a statement posted on the company’s X page.

He further reiterated that only the best-performing candidates among the thousands would be considered for employment.
