The Group Chief Executive Officer (GCEO) of Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC Ltd.), Bayo Ojulari, has reiterated his commitment to forging strong and effective partnerships.
He said the partnerships with key stakeholders will ensure the successful delivery of the strategic mandate entrusted to him by President Bola Tinubu.
Ojulari made this statement during a courtesy visit to the Minister of Petroleum Resources (Oil), Heineken Lokpobiri.
He emphasised a shared vision of progress and performance for Nigeria’s oil and gas industry.
Speaking at the meeting, the GCEO highlighted the collaborative approach that he and his executive leadership team are bringing to their new roles.

He explained that the success of NNPC Ltd. will rely heavily on effective cooperation with the Ministry of Petroleum, the Ministry of Finance, and other relevant institutions.
Ojulari stressed the importance of breaking through bureaucratic barriers and achieving results more swiftly.
“We are here with a mindset of partnership; partnership with the Ministry of Petroleum Resources, with the Ministry of Finance, and with all other critical stakeholders.
“Our goal is to bridge gaps, foster alignment, and move forward with a united front. Antagonism benefits no one; collaboration is how we win,” Ojulari stated.
Reacting, Lokpobiri expressed strong confidence in the new leadership of NNPC Ltd., noting his long-standing relationship with many of the management team members and praising their professional capabilities.
“This is arguably the strongest leadership team NNPC Ltd. has ever assembled,” said the Minister.
“Now is the time to translate that reputation into measurable results, especially in increasing crude oil production and ensuring the sector delivers optimal value to the Nigerian people.”

The Minister assured Ojulari of his unwavering support and strategic guidance, adding that his office would work closely with the GCEO to provide the necessary environment for NNPC Ltd. to thrive and meet its national objectives.
