Delivering her inaugural address at the Command’s headquarters in Akure, Obazee outlined a bold vision for her administration, anchored on four strategic pillars: revenue assurance, security and supply-chain protection, anti-smuggling supremacy, and trade facilitation excellence.

She underscored her commitment to strengthening efficiency and accountability across the command.
She also reassured stakeholders of a more transparent and cooperative trade environment.
“We will deepen industry outreach, reward compliance, and ensure that our operations are planned for impact, executed professionally, and reviewed daily for corrective action,” she explained.
Speaking on behalf of the officers and men of the command, Acting Deputy Comptroller of Administration, Assistant Comptroller Moses Uchegbu, warmly welcomed the new Area Controller.
He expressed confidence in her leadership and pledged the team’s unwavering loyalty to the Service’s mission.
“With your assumption of duty, we are committed to sustaining the momentum already built and working tirelessly to meet expectations,” Uchegbu affirmed.
