The National Association of University Students (NAUS) National Headquarters has expressed unwavering support for Professor Abayomi Sunday Fashina, the Vice Chancellor of Federal University Oye Ekiti (FUOYE), with a resounding vote of confidence.
Comrade Ologe John Oluwatobiloba, the National Director of Campus Interventions for NAUS, praised Professor Fashina as the best Vice Chancellor FUOYE has ever had. He commended Fashina for his remarkable efforts in transforming the university into an internationally recognised institution while prioritising the welfare of both staff and students.
NAUS strongly condemned the unfounded allegations and accusations against Professor Fashina, describing those behind them as “enemies of the university” who are envious of his progress and achievements.

The association dismissed these claims as baseless, reaffirming their belief that the Vice Chancellor’s leadership has been key to the university’s progress.
In a display of unity, NAUS urged all stakeholders and staff to continue supporting Fashina’s vision for the university, emphasising the importance of focusing on the positive strides made under his leadership.
The association expressed confidence that by standing behind Fashina, FUOYE would continue its path of academic excellence and global recognition.
With this official vote of confidence, NAUS has solidified its commitment to promoting good leadership and supporting individuals who contribute positively to the development of the university community.
The association remains steadfast in its support of Professor Fashina’s continued leadership at FUOYE.
