The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has strengthened its commitment to personnel training and capacity development through a strategic partnership with the Presidency.
This collaboration was reaffirmed during a courtesy visit by the Senior Special Assistant to the President (SSAP) on Industrial Training and Development Initiatives, Adamson Ayinde, to the Chief of the Air Staff (CAS), Air Marshal Hasan Abubakar yesterday.
Discussions during the visit focused on providing industrial training opportunities for NAF personnel, particularly those nearing retirement, in key areas such as aerospace technology, information and communication technology (ICT), and agriculture.
Ayinde stressed the importance of equipping retiring personnel with practical skills to transition into civilian life successfully.

Air Marshal Abubakar welcomed the initiative, noting that it aligns with the NAF’s structured approach to continuous training for both serving and retiring personnel.
He emphasised that capacity-building efforts would not only benefit individuals but also contribute to national development.
Both parties expressed their commitment to consolidating the partnership, ensuring that NAF personnel gain valuable skills that enhance their post-service careers while supporting the broader objectives of national growth.
