A Federal High Court in Lagos has ordered the interim forfeiture of a property in the city’s Park View Estate, following its alleged connection to a N986 million diesel supply fraud.
Justice Dehinde Dipeolu granted the order on Friday, August 1, 2025, after a motion was filed by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
The EFCC, represented by counsel C.C. Okezie, sought the order to preserve the property located at No. 29 Oyindamola Shogbesan Street, pending the hearing of a motion for final forfeiture.

According to the EFCC’s submission, the property was allegedly acquired using a portion of the funds from a fraudulent diesel transaction involving Hannah Nwaguzor, Ajayi Olushola, and other individuals.
The court was told that the EFCC received a petition from Chukwulota Onuoha and two companies, G3 Solid Farms & Agro Allied Industries and Bohr Energy Limited.
The petitioners claimed they were defrauded by Nwaguzor and Olushola under the pretence of supplying Automotive Gas Oil (AGO).
Bohr Energy Limited reportedly transferred N986 million to Mozann Global Merchants Limited in May 2024, but no diesel was delivered, and the funds were allegedly diverted.
Investigations by the EFCC traced N500 million of the diverted funds to Hola Jayu Nigeria Limited, which subsequently paid N261 million to Orobosa Michael Ubogu for the purchase of the property in question.
The commission stated that these funds were proceeds of an unlawful activity, and the property was not acquired through any legitimate means.
Justice Dipeolu, after considering the EFCC’s arguments, granted the interim forfeiture order.

The court also directed that the order be published in a national newspaper, giving any interested parties 14 days to show cause why the property should not be permanently forfeited to the federal government.
The case has been adjourned until September 2, for the hearing on the motion for final forfeiture.
