A housewife in Kenya has killed her commercial motorcyclist husband over money issues.
The commercial motorcycle rider, also known as Bodaboda operator, was brutally stabbed to death by his wife.
According to reports, the young man met his death in their home in Rongai after he returned with less money than usual.
An eyewitness report said trouble started when the deceased returned home from the day’s work, and the wife discovered that he made significantly less that he normally does due to heavy rainfall that fell for hours on the sad day.
Consequently, the development led to a serious confrontation from his wife who reminded him about the household items that were finished and demanded that he provide the money. When he was unable to do so, an argument erupted between them.
In a fit of maddening rage, she rushed to the kitchen to grab a knife. Sensing the imminent danger, the Bodaboda operator attempted to flee but slipped and fell on the floor. The wife then stabbed him in the chest, ending his life instantly.
Unfortunately, by the time neighbours arrived to save him, it was too late as he was already dead after losing so much blood.
It was gathered that though the killer-wife immediately fled the scene, she was later hunted down and arrested by the police.
One of the police deputies who spoke to journalists said she will be charged to court on Monday.
