Ondo State Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, has announced a series of key appointments shortly after assuming office as the 7th democratically elected governor of the state on Monday.
In a swift move to kick-start his administration, Governor Aiyedatiwa approved the appointment of Taiwo Fasoranti as the Secretary to the State Government (SSG).
Fasoranti appointment followed the death of former SSG, Tayo Oluwatuyi, popularly known as Tukana.
Fasoranti who hails from Akure South Local Government Area, previously served as the Chairman of the Ondo State Hospitals Management Board.
Additionally, the governor reappointed Kayode Ajulo, as Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, along with Omowunmi Isaac as Commissioner for Finance.

Their appointments are subject to confirmation by the Ondo State House of Assembly.
Governor Aiyedatiwa also reappointed the following individuals as Special Advisers, Johnson Alabi as Special Adviser on Power and Seun Osamaye as Special Adviser on Women Affairs.

Others are Bola Taiwo as Special Adviser on Union Matters & Special Duties and Simidele Odimayo as Special Adviser on Health.
In another elevation within the administration, EAbiola Olawoye, formerly the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Infrastructure, Lands, and Housing, has been promoted to the role of Special Adviser in the same portfolio.
Governor Aiyedatiwa emphasised that these appointments take immediate effect and charged the newly appointed officials to swiftly engage in providing efficient and effective services to the people of the state.
