Kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, has appointed Yusuf La-Kadri as the new Director of the Kwara State Internal Revenue Service (KW-IRS).
In a statement issued by the KW-IRS Corporate Affairs Department, Governor AbdulRazaq announced that La-Kadri’s appointment takes immediate effect as of November 11, 2024.
La-Kadri brings over 20 years of distinguished experience in International Trade Finance, Credit Control, Tax Policy, and Treasury Management.
He has held significant roles in leading private sector organizations in Nigeria, including Dangote Sugar Refinery Plc, Vodacom Business Africa, and Price Waterhouse Coopers.

La-Kadri holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the prestigious University of Ilorin.
He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN), an Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), and a Member of both the Association of Chartered Management Accountants (ACMA) and the Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) in the United Kingdom.
He is also a member of several professional bodies, including the Institute of Credit Administration of Nigeria (MICA), the Association of Corporate Treasurers of Nigeria (ACTN), the Society for Corporate Governance Nigeria (SCGN), and is currently a student member of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators of Nigeria (ICSAN).

La-Kadri is happily married with children.
