The Federal Government (FG) has extended the deadline for applications to paramilitary services under the Ministry of Interior.
This was announced in a statement by the Secretary of the Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB), Major General Abdulmalik Jibrin (Rtd), and obtained by The New Daily Prime on Sunday.
According to Jibrin, the deadline for the ongoing recruitment exercise has been extended by one week.
The application portal, initially scheduled to close on Monday, 4th August, will now remain open until Monday, 11th August.

He explained that the extension aims to offer more opportunities to interested applicants seeking enlistment into any of the paramilitary agencies under the Board.
Applicants were reminded that the official recruitment portal remains: [https://recruitment.cdcfib.gov.ng](https://recruitment.cdcfib.gov.ng).
“The Board wishes to reiterate that its recruitment process is free of charge as well as remains committed to ensuring a fair and transparent process”, Jibril said.
