Facebook has unveiled a new programme, “Creator Fast Track,” offering financial incentives and boosted visibility with a view to attracting content creators from rival platforms such as TikTok, YouTube and Instagram.
The company said the initiative is designed to ease the transition for established creators, allowing them to grow audiences on Facebook without starting from scratch.
Under the scheme, eligible creators will receive enhanced reach on their Reels content and guaranteed earnings for three months. Those with at least 100,000 followers on other platforms can earn $1,000 monthly, while creators with over one million followers may receive up to $3,000 per month.
Facebook disclosed that it paid nearly $3bn to creators in 2025 through its monetisation systems, marking a 35 per cent rise from the previous year and its highest annual payout.
Vice-President of Creator Product at Facebook, Yair Livne, said the programme was introduced in response to concerns about the difficulty of building an audience on the platform.
Livne said, “We wanted to be able to address creators’ concerns that it would be a hard road to onboard onto Facebook and build a community from scratch and build a following, so we set up this program.”
He added that creators will continue to enjoy increased reach beyond the three-month payment window until they stabilise their audience growth.
Livne also noted that participants do not need to create original content to qualify, saying existing videos can be reposted.
He said, “You don’t need to create exclusive, brand-new content for this program… we would love to get your back catalogue of best hits.”
The company further revealed that creators earning above $10,000 annually on the platform have increased by more than 30 per cent year-on-year, with about 60 per cent of payouts coming from Reels content.
