The Federal High Court sitting in Abuja has found Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, guilty of terrorism charges levelled against him by the federal government.
The court noted that it was satisfied with the evidence provided by the prosecution that Kanu made a series of broadcast meant to incite the people against the government.
The trial judge, Justice James Omotosho, based his decision on what he described as “uncontroverted evidence” that was adduced before the court by the prosecution.
