Former Ekiti State Governor, Kayode Fayemi, has praised former military president, Ibrahim Babangida, on the release of his autobiography, ‘A Journey in Service.’
The New Daily Prime reported that Babangida unveiled the book and inaugurated his presidential library on Thursday, with politicians and other prominent figures in attendance.
In a statement on his Facebook page on Saturday, Fayemi, a former Minister of Solid Minerals, described the autobiography as a valuable resource.

He said it offers insights into leadership, governance, and Nigeria’s political evolution, highlighting defining moments that shaped the nation’s democratic struggles.
“Given my long-standing role as a pro-democracy activist, attending the book launch of “A Journey in Service: An Autobiography of Ibrahim Babangida” in Abuja was a moment of reflection.
“While history will continue to judge every era, documenting these experiences remains crucial for national learning and dialogue”, the 60-year-old said.
