The governor described the theme as a patriotic call to action, urging stakeholders across society to unite against all forms of bullying and abuse, especially in schools and online spaces.
“Bullying—whether in schools, on playgrounds, or in digital spaces—is a threat to the emotional well-being of our children. It erodes their confidence and stifles their dreams,” Aiyedatiwa said.
“But today and every day forward, Ondo State says: No more!”
He called for collaborative efforts from parents, teachers, traditional rulers, religious institutions, and community leaders in building a culture anchored on kindness, empathy, and mutual support.
Highlighting strides made by his administration in promoting children’s welfare, the governor listed the payment of WAEC fees for secondary school students, ongoing renovation of public schools, and the recruitment of over 2,000 teachers across the state’s primary and secondary schools.

A major highlight of the celebration was the formal inauguration of the 3rd Ondo State Children’s Parliament, which the Governor described as a crucial platform to amplify children’s voices and encourage leadership from a young age.
