Air Peace has announced its commitment to repatriating a group of underaged Nigerian girls trafficked to Ivory Coast, along with providing them with complimentary medical treatment upon their return.
The airline’s Chairman, Allen Onyema, revealed this in an official statement, urging Nigerians to unite against human trafficking, which he described as cruel and morally reprehensible.
This development follows a viral revelation by activist Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan, who drew national attention to the plight of trafficked girls.
In response, Onyema pledged the airline’s support by offering free flights to bring the victims home and ensuring they receive proper medical attention to aid their recovery.
He expressed deep concern and condemnation over the recent discovery of Nigerian underaged girls trafficked to Ivory Coast.

“We will bring them home. We should discourage trafficking of any kind. It is inhumane and callous. It is absolutely ungodly and a good example of man’s inhumanity to man.
“We, in Air Peace, are ready to bring our fellow citizens back home free of charge.
“Besides that, we are going to send all of them to Duchess International Hospital in Ikeja for free medical examination and treatment.
“While we implore the Nigerian Embassy in Cote D’Ivoire to assemble them and reach out to us, we equally call on the Federal Government to take charge of their education while reuniting them with their families.”
