Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, has announced the launch of the Imole Statewide Public and Private Schools Students SSCE Scholarship.
He said the initiative is aimed at rewarding academic excellence among senior secondary school students.
Commissioner for Education, Dipo Eluwole, in a statement said the scholarship—sponsored in collaboration with Electronic Collections Group (ECG)—will recognize top-performing students in the SSCE across all 30 local government areas and the area office of the state.
As part of the initiative, the overall best student in Osun State will receive a N1 million scholarship as a reward for outstanding academic performance.

Additionally, the best students in both public and private schools from each local government area will be awarded N100,000 each to support their education.
To further encourage excellence at the institutional level, the best-performing public and private schools will be granted a N500,000 educational support fund, aimed at enhancing their academic programmes.
Moreover, recognizing the crucial role of educators, teachers of the best-performing students from both public and private schools in each local government will be rewarded with exciting gift items in appreciation of their dedication and impact on student success.
Eluwole reiterated Governor Adeleke’s commitment to improving education standards and fostering intellectual growth among students in Osun.

He urged school administrators and teachers to diligently prepare their students for the 2025 WAEC SSCE to increase their chances of qualifying for the prestigious awards.
The winners of the Imole SSCE Scholarship will be officially announced after the release of the SSCE results.
