The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has called on its members to obtain Expression of Interest and Nomination Forms for its upcoming ward, local government, and state congresses, as well as its national convention.
The party made this known in a public notice issued at its National Headquarters in Abuja, with submission set to close on 27 March 2026.
The party said interested and qualified members who wish to contest for positions should purchase the required forms and follow the guidelines provided.
It noted that the forms are available at the National Secretariat and across state secretariats.
According to the notice, the Expression of Interest Form costs N2,000, while nomination fees vary depending on the position.
Ward chairmanship forms cost N10,000, while local government chairmanship forms cost N40,000.
At the state level, the chairmanship form costs N500,000. Other positions attract lower fees as stated by the party.
The ADC also stated that aspirants must secure a required number of nominators. Each nominator is expected to pay a non-refundable fee of N500.
The number of nominators differs by position, ranging from five at the ward level to 50 for state chairmanship positions.
The party said all payments must be made through bank transfer into its official account and that applicants must present proof of payment.
It added that screening of aspirants will take place from March 30 to 31 March, 2026, after the submission deadline.
The notice, signed by the party’s National Organising Secretary, Prince Chinedu Idigo, urged all aspirants to strictly follow the guidelines and timelines.
The ADC said the process offers members a chance to serve and take part in building a stronger and people-focused political movement.
