Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has praised the state’s security forces for their sacrifices and recent successes in ongoing operations to enhance public safety.
The commendation came during a high-level security council meeting yesterday, where the governor received detailed briefings from all security and intelligence heads in the state.

The meeting, attended by commanders from the Nigerian Police, State Security Service, Army, Navy, Air Force, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Immigration Service, and the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), focused on the progress of clearance operations.
According to a statement from the governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Rafiu Ajakaye, the security chiefs reported multiple arrests, prosecutions, and the interception of weapons from “hostile non-state actors.”
AbdulRazaq expressed his gratitude to the operatives, stating that they deserve all the support they receive for their commitment to protecting the public.
He called for continued public vigilance and urged residents to provide timely and actionable intelligence to aid the security agencies in their work.
Top government officials, including the Secretary to the State Government and the Attorney General, were also present at the meeting to provide insights and support the security efforts.

The gathering underscored the state government’s ongoing commitment to a multi-agency, collaborative approach to tackling insecurity.
