Nigerian music star Ayodeji Balogun, popularly known as Wizkid, has taken aim at Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke amid the resurgence of his long-running dispute with fellow Afrobeats star David Adeleke, better known as Davido.
The feud between Wizkid and Davido, which has spanned several years, was reignited late Tuesday when Wizkid posted a series of tweets attacking Davido on his verified X account.
In one of the tweets, Wizkid took a direct shot at Davido’s abilities, claiming the artist lacked talent and mockingly gave him the nickname “Frogido.”
On Wednesday, Wizkid escalated his verbal attack, this time targeting Davido’s uncle, Governor Ademola Adeleke, in another tweet.
In a pointed remark, Wizkid implied that his family was more disciplined than Davido’s, criticizing Governor Adeleke for his frequent social media appearances.
He tweeted: “When you see people raised by a well-disciplined family, you will know! You don’t see my uncle dancing online!”
Governor Adeleke, who is widely known for his love of dancing, recently expressed pride in his passion, further fueling Wizkid’s comment.
Despite the repeated insults aimed at both Davido and his family, the Timeless singer has remained silent and has not responded to Wizkid’s provocations.
The feud between Wizkid and Davido is largely rooted in competition, media speculation, and fan-driven rivalry. However, Wizkid has taken things to a new level by verbally attacking Davido’s uncle
