Singer Wizkid’s personal disc jockey, DJ Tunez, has downplayed the long-standing rivalry between his boss and fellow Afrobeats star Davido, insisting it is not as serious as it appears on social media.
Speaking on the Moni Talks podcast, DJ Tunez revealed that Wizkid harbours no ill feelings toward Davido and is open to working closely with him.
“Wizkid has big love for Davido. I am just hoping we could go on tour together, Starboy and 30BG. That is all we need right now,” he said.

According to Tunez, a joint tour between the two music heavyweights would be a major boost for the Afrobeats movement, uniting fans and strengthening the global presence of Nigerian music.
He added that collaboration, rather than rivalry, is what the industry needs at this stage of its growth.
Both artiste have previously hinted at the possibility of working together. Wizkid has teased the idea of touring with Davido, while the 30BG boss has also publicly expressed readiness to share the stage with Wizkid in the past.
Fans have long called for unity between the two stars, whose perceived feud has dominated Afrobeats conversations for years.
