Veteran Nigerian actress Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde has revealed that her commitment to personal values and integrity has influenced many of the financial decisions she has made throughout her career.
Speaking during an appearance on The Afropolitan Show, the celebrated Nollywood star disclosed that she has turned down several lucrative offers over the years because they conflicted with her personal principles.

“If I wanted to be a billionaire I would have been it easily,” she said during the interview.
Ekeinde explained that some of the opportunities presented to her would have been difficult for the public to detect if she had accepted them. However, she maintained that compromising her values was never an option for her.
“I have been in situations where no one would have known and I would have taken things and compromised my stands,” she said.
Despite the potential financial benefits those opportunities could have offered, the actress stated that she consistently chose integrity over monetary gain.
“But I would say no, and I would walk away,” she added.
Ekeinde further noted that some of the individuals involved in those situations are likely aware of the decisions she made at the time.
“Many times, and some of those people are even watching me today,” she said.
