Big Brother Naija season 9 runner-up Wanni Danbaki stated that although she did not win the main prize, she believes she won.
Wanni and her twin sister, Handi, began the competition together; however, Handi was eliminated in week eight.
On the final day, October 6, The Nation reported that Wanni finished second to champion Kellyrae.
Wanni expressed pleasure with her successes in an interview with Pulse, describing her aims as brand promotion, personal improvement, and lasting friendships.
Wanni considers her Big Brother Naija trip a success, as she feels fulfilled.
“For me, I feel like I won the show, because I achieved everything I went there for. I came to the show for three things: brand promotion, growth and friendship,” she said.
The New Daily Prime also reported that Wanni and Handi’s fans were overjoyed to have witnessed such a triumphant event. Wanni, won the Innoson task while on the show
Wanni, who originally entered the game with her twin sister, Handi Danbaki, has done herself and her family happy by winning her first automobile in one of the BBNaija challenges.
On October 2, the housemates were tasked with competing against each other in the BBNaijaInnoson assignment, one of the most anticipated of the season.
The Innoson task is usually one of the most difficult of the season. It tests the roommates’ fortitude, dedication, courage, and endurance. The assignment was deemed the most challenging ever on the BBNaija show, and IVM defined it as “not just any bucket, it’s a bucket full of hopes, prayers, and 4-wheel drive dreams.”
Wanni demonstrated extraordinary determination and expertise by finishing the puzzle in record time, earning her the desired prize ahead of her competitors. Wanni emerged as the last woman standing, and she had to compete with Ozee, the final guy standing, before being proclaimed the winner.
Wanni was overjoyed when she learnt of her victory and eagerly shared the news with her twin sister, Handi. “Handi, we’ve got a car!” she said.
Remember that Wanni has pledged to win the N100 million grand prize equivalent before the end of the year.
However, the dynamic team from Big Brother Naija Season 9, thanked their fans for their unwavering love and support.
The twins just recently got a slew of presents, including 10 million naira, shopping and petrol cards.
Wanni and Handi expressed their profound gratitude for the gestures on Instagram Live.
They stated that the support is especially valuable because they had often felt misunderstood.
“We have been misunderstood our whole lives, it’s so amazing to see you guys love us for our real selves,” they said.
