Media personality Daddy Freeze says President Tinubu’s leadership has restored his faith in Nigeria, citing progress in key sectors and urging patience.

He believes the administration’s policies are paving the way for national progress.

During an interview on Nigeria Info FM in Lagos, Daddy Freeze acknowledged his initial doubts about Tinubu’s presidency. However, he now sees promising developments, particularly in the power sector. He urged Nigerians to be patient, emphasizing that the country’s deep-rooted problems cannot be solved overnight.

Optimism about Nigeria’s future

The outspoken broadcaster compared Nigeria’s challenges to a faulty, overloaded truck. According to him, no mechanic—referring to any leader—can fix it instantly. However, he believes Tinubu’s administration is making significant efforts.

“With President Bola Tinubu, I don’t think Nigeria is in trouble,” he said. “At first, I was scared, but I’m beginning to see the work he is doing, especially in the power sector.”

He stressed that Nigerians should not expect immediate solutions. “Nigeria has so many problems. Sometimes, expecting one government to come in and fix everything at once is too ambitious,” he added.

Call for patience and support

Daddy Freeze encouraged Nigerians to support the administration’s policies rather than focus on short-term difficulties. He noted that while challenges persist, progress is being made in key areas.

“I was worried at first, but seeing how this government has handled things so far, I feel we finally have hope in this country,” he said.

His remarks reflect a growing debate among Nigerians about the effectiveness of Tinubu’s leadership. While some remain skeptical, others, like Daddy Freeze, believe that patience and consistency will yield positive results.

As the country navigates economic and infrastructural reforms, the media personality’s comments add to the conversation about leadership, expectations, and the future of Nigeria.
