Nigerian content creator and TikTok influencer, Elizabeth Amaduo, better known as Jarvis, has confirmed that she is engaged to fellow content actor and streamer, Habeeb Hamzat, popularly called Peller.
Jarvis made this known in an interview with Channels Television on Sunday, months after Peller, 20, proposed to her in December 2024.
According to Jarvis, who is 23 years old, the proposal came as a shock, but she believes they will eventually get married when the time is right.
“I believe that we will get married at the right time. There’s a lot in marriage, so you have to be careful. It’s true that we are engaged. He [Peller] actually engaged me; shockingly to me. But the ring doesn’t fit my finger, so I kept it safe at home,” she said.
Jarvis had earlier denied the engagement during a livestream, claiming the ring was just a promise ring and that they were not dating.
However, her latest statement has now cleared the air.
The TikTok creator also said her impression of Peller changed after meeting him in person. She noted that she initially thought they would not be compatible, but later discovered he was calm and down-to-earth.
“I used to think we were not compatible, but when I met him, I saw that he’s cool. I’ve learnt not to judge people based on social media behaviour,” she said.
Jarvis added that their relationship taught her not to judge people by their online behaviour, saying Peller’s personality offline is different from what people see on social media.
Both influencers have been in the public eye since the engagement video surfaced online.
While many fans congratulated them, some doubted the seriousness of the relationship due to their age difference and past denials.
Jarvis and Peller are among a new wave of young Nigerian creators whose personal lives continue to attract heavy attention from fans online.
