Nigerian music videographer and cinematographer ThankGod Omori, also known as TG Omori, has provided an update on his health and is optimistic about his recovery.
TG Omori recently took to Twitter (previously known as X) to ask followers and well-wishers for prayers after revealing that he was suffering from kidney failure.
In a recent health update on Twitter, TG Omori declared that he will overcome his ailment no matter what. He confirmed his intended return in 2025 and thanked fans and colleagues for their enduring love and support.
TG Omori’s tweet reads, “It’s mind over matter. If the mind is defeated, it’s just a matter of time before the body falls. Pain has no power over me. Hope these designers cover these scars. I’ll be back in 2025. Stay in love.”
TG previously revealed that his only brother had donated one kidney to him, which apparently didn’t match.
The music producer, who has been away from the public for some time, uploaded a photo of himself crying on a hospital bed while receiving oxygen. Although he had been making cryptic posts about his health status before, he only recently made it public.
Months back, he disclosed his decision to stop smoking. Omori announced his resolution on Elon Musk’s platform, writing, “Quit smoking today.”
Omori joins the list of Nigerian celebrities who have promised to quit smoking, including Kizz Daniel, Tonto Dikeh, and Charly Boy, and intends to adhere to his choice.
