Popular Nollywood actress and filmmaker Ruth Kadiri has opened up about why she chooses to keep her private life separate from her career in the entertainment industry.
Speaking during an interview with Jay OnAir, the award-winning actress and mother of two explained that maintaining her personal boundaries is essential to preserving her peace and sense of self.
According to Kadiri, her decision to live a low-key private life stems from a desire to protect her inner happiness and avoid losing herself to the pressures of fame.

“The last thing I want to do as a person is to lose myself in the process of being an entertainer,” she said. “I need to be able to keep the wealth of happiness or fulfilment for myself while growing and building what I want to build. And I’m not going to let anybody sway me.”
Ruth Kadiri, who has earned a reputation for her consistency and versatility in Nollywood, emphasised that balancing fame with privacy allows her to remain grounded and focused on her craft.
The actress has long maintained a strong boundary between her personal and professional life, rarely sharing details about her family on social media.
New Daily Prime reports that not much is known about Kadiri’s private life, except that she is married to an undisclosed husband and the couple share two children, born between 2019 and 2022.
