Nigerian actress Regina Daniels has threatened to take legal action against her estranged husband, Senator Ned Nwoko, and others over allegations that she uses hard drugs.
The actress made the threat in a video shared on her Instagram page on Wednesday, where she addressed the controversy that has trailed her for months.
In the video, Regina displayed laboratory test results conducted at a hospital in California, which she said confirmed that she tested negative for hard drugs.

According to the report she presented, the only substance linked to her was ecstasy, commonly known as molly.
Expressing frustration over the allegations, Regina said she never imagined having to publicly defend herself against claims she described as damaging and false.
“It’s a new year, and with it came a moment of clarity. I realised that there are certain narratives I can no longer allow linger over my name as a public figure,” she said.
The actress noted that the accusations were aimed at destroying her image and brand, adding that drug allegations are one of the quickest ways to ruin a public figure’s reputation.
“I also realised how many people love me, support and believe in me, and I will never let that love or loyalty be met with shame or doubt. Tell me, what better way to tear down a brand than drugs?” she asked.
Regina explained that taking the drug test was not just about clearing her name but also about standing up for those who believe in her and protecting her children from stigma in the future.
“Taking this test is not about clearing my name; it is about giving a strong and confident voice to those who believe in me. Above all, it is to give my children something priceless, pride,” she stated.
She firmly denied ever using hard drugs, describing the reports circulating online as fabricated, and warned that she would pursue legal action.
“I was never on any hard drugs or any nonsense fabricated online. I will sue, I will definitely sue at the appropriate time,” Regina said, adding that her association with ecstasy had a specific context she would address later.
New Daily Prime recalls that the clarification comes nearly three months after Senator Ned Nwoko publicly accused the actress of drug use amid their highly publicised marital crisis.
The actress had earlier shared a video showing herself at a California hospital undergoing a drug test.
