Nigerian actress Regina Daniels has finally presented herself for a drug test amid months of controversy surrounding allegations of substance abuse.
The actress shared a video on Instagram showing herself at a hospital, where she disclosed that she was about to undergo the test.
“Hi guys, so I’m here at the hospital. I’m about to run my drug test,” she said in the clip.

Her decision comes nearly three months after her husband, billionaire businessman and politician Senator Ned Nwoko, accused her of substance abuse during their highly publicised marital crisis.
New Daily Prime recalls that in October 2025, Regina publicly accused Nwoko of domestic violence and emotional abuse.
The senator denied the allegations and, in turn, claimed that the actress struggled with substance use, stating that he had access to her medical records.
The controversy deepened when Regina’s co-wife, Laila Charani, also weighed in on the situation, alleging that Regina had introduced her to drugs during their time together.
Amid the fallout, an alleged medical report purportedly from Serenity Royale Hospital surfaced online, claiming to show the presence of multiple substances in Regina’s system. The report sparked widespread reactions and intensified public scrutiny of the actress.
However, Serenity Royale Hospital strongly denied releasing or leaking any laboratory results linked to Regina Daniels.
In a statement, the hospital said:
“We wish to state clearly that the publication containing classified information of Mrs Nwoko Regina did not emanate from us and respectfully request the public to disregard it.”
Regina’s decision to voluntarily undergo a drug test is widely seen as an attempt to clear her name and address the allegations that have trailed her amid the ongoing marital dispute. As of the time of this report, neither Ned Nwoko nor Laila Charani has reacted to her latest move.
