In a shocking statement that stirred social media on Sunday, Nollywood actress Regina Daniels allegedly confronted her estranged husband, Ned Nwoko, accusing him of lies, manipulation, and emotional abuse.
According to the viral message circulating online, Regina, on her Facebook page, questioned Nwoko’s recent public claims about her alleged drug use and family involvement in her personal life.
She reportedly said he lied “openly and without remorse”, adding that her family had “nothing to do with” their current conflict.

The actress claimed Nwoko had always tried to distance her from her family because of the strong bond they shared. She accused him of attempting to turn the public against her relatives for reasons that had nothing to do with their marital issues.
Regina admitted that she had used drugs in the past but questioned why her husband made it a public issue.
“Fine, I did drugs. So what? Is that even the issue between us?” she wrote. She accused Nwoko of using her struggles as a distraction from the real problems in their relationship.
According to her, Nwoko allegedly used the “drug” narrative to create a scandal big enough to capture media attention and shift focus away from deeper issues between them.
“You rushed to the public shouting ‘drugs, drugs, drugs’ because you knew it would make a perfect story,” she said in the leaked message.
The actress also accused Nwoko of using control tactics to isolate her from everyone she cared about. She claimed he wanted to “arrest everyone around” her so she would be left without friends or support. “When I am completely isolated and broken, you believe I’ll be forced to come back to you,” she said.
Regina described Nwoko’s alleged strategy as one that involved “breaking people down” until they became “weak and powerless.” However, she vowed that such manipulation would no longer work on her.
In the lengthy outburst, she accused the billionaire politician of hypocrisy, saying he once encouraged her drug use. “You wanted me high because, in your words, I’m ‘sexier’ when I’m high,” she claimed.
According to her, Nwoko preferred her that way because it made her “wild and romantic.”She went on to make further allegations of assault and control, claiming Nwoko forced himself on her whenever she refused intimacy.

She also accused him of locking her up, seizing her phones, and labeling her “mentally unstable” whenever she attempted to leave the relationship.
However, she said whenever she pretended to comply with his wishes, he would suddenly claim she was “fine again.”
Regina also alleged that Nwoko subjected her to forced medical treatment. “You made doctors inject me with drugs meant for people with bipolar disorder,” she claimed.
She said he would take her phones for weeks because he disliked her frequent communication with her family.
The actress insisted that despite Nwoko’s claims, he had never seen her “lose control or act incoherent.” She stated that their problems began when she decided she no longer wanted to remain in the relationship.
“Stop using the drugs narrative to create distraction,” she said, urging him to “tell people the truth.”
In what appeared to be a final message to Nwoko, Regina said he was struggling to accept rejection and the end of their relationship. “You are hurt and trying to make peace with the fact that it’s over,” she wrote.
Regina further stated that Nwoko’s financial support could never equal the time and opportunities she sacrificed while with him.
She clarified that there was no legal marriage between them. “We were never married in any court of law,” she said.
She concluded her message with a clear warning: “Leave me alone, Ned. Marriage is not by force. Love is not by force. Stop trying to control what no longer belongs to you.”
