Controversial Nigerian street-hop singer, Habeeb Olalomi Badmus, popularly known as Portable, has fired back at cross-dresser Idris Okuneye, now known as Afolashade Amope Okuneye, popularly called Bobrisky.
Portable, in a fiery video posted on Instagram, openly mocked the social media personality and challenged him to a one-on-one physical fight.
In the viral clip, Portable appeared visibly irritated by Bobrisky’s recent announcement of a new identity. He questioned the credibility of the name change and mocked the idea that financial wealth could alter one’s physical appearance.
“He used money to change what is on his chest,” Portable said, laughing scornfully in the video.
“Come back to Nigeria. Let’s fight. I will disfigure your face with just one blow.”
The outspoken singer then demanded that Bobrisky provide a Ferrari and a sum of ₦100 million before he would agree to engage in a public fight. He said he would only show up under those conditions, stressing his readiness for confrontation.
‘Tell your mama to warn you, ’ Portable warns Bobrisky
In the same outburst, Portable didn’t hold back. He took a personal dig at Bobrisky’s family, urging his mother to intervene and warn her child. He described Bobrisky as someone trying to mislead the youth and vowed to physically teach him a lesson if he dared to face him.
“Tell your mama make she warn you. I no dey joke. If I see you, na fight straight. I go spoil your face,” he added.
The callout has sparked widespread reaction online, with fans divided over Portable’s aggressive tone and the rising tension between the two internet personalities.
Bobrisky officially embraces female identity
This drama follows Bobrisky’s recent announcement that he is now fully identifying as a woman. On his verified Instagram page, he declared that he has completed his transition and now prefers to be called Afolashade Amope Okuneye.
He wrote:
“It’s time y’all accept Bob is now a woman. I’ve done everything. Congratulations to me. I can now collect gbola like all women do. I’m proud of myself. Not even one billion trolls can stop me from achieving my dreams.”
In the same post, Bobrisky explained that he doesn’t need a womb to live happily as a woman. He further added that married men now spend generously on him, claiming that he helps keep their homes intact by avoiding unplanned pregnancies.
“Before you open your dirty mouth to ask if I have a womb, I don’t need it,” he said.
“I love how married men spend heavily on me. I don’t keep unwanted children who could destroy their homes. I’m here to keep marriages intact.”
Public reactions between Portable and Bobrisky
The online community has been buzzing with reactions, with some supporting Bobrisky’s right to identify as he pleases, while others, like Portable, believe the transformation is misleading and should not be encouraged.
Portable’s challenge has added fuel to the fire, stirring debates around gender identity, freedom of expression, and celebrity influence in Nigerian society. His demand for a Ferrari and ₦100 million has also been viewed by some as a publicity stunt aimed at gaining attention.
Meanwhile, Bobrisky has yet to directly respond to Portable’s threats, but his recent posts indicate he remains unfazed by criticism.
Conclusion
The feud between Portable and Bobrisky reflects the clash of values within the Nigerian entertainment space, between traditional views and new expressions of identity. As the back-and-forth continues, fans and critics alike are watching closely to see whether the fight challenge materialises or if it fizzles out as just another social media squabble.
