Controversial Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola Badmus, popularly known as Portable, has publicly called out his father, Mr Olalomi, accusing him of taking away his clothes and other personal belongings.
The Zazu crooner made the allegations in a video broadcast circulating online, where he compared his father to the late singer Mohbad’s father, claiming that his dad has been targeting his possessions and properties.
According to Portable, his life was more stable before his father became actively involved in it. He alleged that his father did not contribute to his upbringing, education, or early career development.

The singer stated that his father neither sponsored his schooling nor paid for his skill acquisition when he was learning tailoring, a trade he practised before rising to fame in the music industry.
Expressing deep frustration, Portable said his father’s presence has hurt his life rather than providing support.
“My dad’s presence in my life is doing me more harm than good. My life was better and more stable when he wasn’t in the picture,” he said.
“When I was younger, he didn’t take care of me. He did not send me to school. He did not pay for my tailoring apprenticeship fee,” Portable added.
He further alleged that his father had taken his shoes and clothes and was now after his properties.
“His presence is affecting my life negatively. My dad is like Mohbad’s dad. He has taken all my shoes and clothes and he is just after my properties,” the singer said.
As of the time of filing this report, Portable’s father has not reacted to the allegations.
