“Just fcking got robbed in Cali, my passport to travel, my laptop, my fcking harddrive. All my f*cking songs,” he wrote.
The singer’s statement suggested that the stolen hard drive contained music files, raising concerns that some of his unreleased songs may have been lost in the incident.
On his part, Pheelz also reacted to the situation, describing the experience as one of the most shocking moments he has faced.
“[I] got robbed in Cali. WTF. Thank God for life,” he wrote.
“One of the craziest nights of my life for sure,” the producer added.
While the artists shared details of the incident online, they did not indicate whether the matter had been officially reported to law enforcement authorities in the United States.
Car break-ins have been reported in several parts of Los Angeles in recent years, particularly involving parked vehicles targeted for valuables left inside.
For the two Nigerian artists, the incident appears to have disrupted their time in the city, with the loss of travel documents, work equipment, and other personal belongings.
Despite the ordeal, both musicians expressed relief that they were not physically harmed during the incident.
