According to him, many artists tend to prioritise foreign influencers and media personalities over their Nigerian counterparts.
“Nigerian musicians don’t rate local streamers. They will be streaming with Americans, but when they don turn old, na then dem go dey find Naija streamers up and down,” he said.
Peller added that he has observed a pattern where some artists only engage with local media when their popularity begins to decline.
“I don catch their scope. Very few Nigerian musicians are kind,” he stated.
He, however, singled out some artists he described as exceptions, including Davido, Olamide, and Tiwa Savage, whom he praised for being supportive and approachable.
Peller urged Nigerian entertainers, particularly musicians, to show more support for local media and content creators, regardless of their international success.
His remarks have since generated mixed reactions on social media, with many users debating the relationship between Nigerian artists and homegrown influencers.
