Pastor Jerry Eze, founder of Streams of Joy International, has once again been named Nigeria’s highest-paid YouTuber.
This marks the second consecutive year he has held the title, cementing his place as the country’s most influential faith-based digital content creator.
According to Playboard, a global platform that ranks YouTube channels, Pastor Eze leads in both revenue and live viewership. Each time he streams, an average of 282,451 people tune in, making him the most-watched livestreamer in Nigeria.
His YouTube channel, launched in November 2019, has grown into a massive digital congregation. It now boasts 2.87 million subscribers, up from 2.12 million in 2024, and features over 2,900 videos. The channel has also surpassed 643 million total views.
In its latest report, Playboard revealed that Pastor Eze earned N10.71 billion in cumulative revenue. This includes daily returns of nearly N1.94 million and weekly earnings exceeding N47.7 million. Despite fluctuations caused by exchange rates, his income continues to rise steadily.
A major contributor to his earnings is YouTube’s Super Chat feature. This tool allows viewers to pay to pin their messages during livestreams, giving them greater visibility.

Pastor Eze’s global audience regularly purchases Super Chats to highlight prayer requests and testimonies. YouTube creators keep 70 percent of Super Chat revenue, making it a significant income source for him.
Beyond revenue, his channel’s impact is undeniable. The New Season Prophetic Prayers and Declarations (NSPPD) livestream has become a global phenomenon.
Viewers tune in daily from Nigeria, the United Kingdom, the United States, Canada, and South Africa to join in prayers. Many testify to miracles, including healings, restored sight and hearing, and even reports of the dead coming back to life.
Pastor Eze, a graduate of History and International Relations from Abia State University, previously worked as a Communications Specialist with the World Bank before starting his ministry. In 2009, he began pastoring at All Saints Chapel in Raleigh, North Carolina, before founding Streams of Joy International.
Faith-based YouTube channels continue to dominate Nigeria’s top earners. Others in the top five include Paul S. Joshua’s channel, Dunamis TV (led by Pastor Paul Enenche), Celebration TV (run by Apostle Johnson Suleman), and Rev. Sam Oye’s channel. Each of these channels has recorded significant growth in subscribers, views, and revenue over the past year.
The rise of faith-driven creators shows how Nigerians increasingly turn to digital spaces for spiritual guidance and community.
For Pastor Jerry Eze, his message remains clear. He is known for declaring, “What God cannot do does not exist,” a phrase that has become a rallying cry for millions of believers around the world.
