Outspoken Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola, better known as Portable, has now joined the ongoing conversation, adding his voice to the heated public debate.
In a video posted on his social media page, he mocked Olamide, accusing the rapper of treating him unfairly compared to Asake.
Portable recalled that Olamide only gave him a verse on his song Zazu instead of signing him to YBNL. Despite that, he said he remained more appreciative than Asake, who reportedly received full support from the label.
Allegations against olamide
He didn’t stop there. He accused Olamide of taking his producer, dancer, and promoter Kogbagidi rather than signing him.
“Olamide Baddo, if you had asked me to sign with your label, I would have accepted immediately,” Portable said. “Instead of signing me, you took my producer, my dancer, and even my promoter.”
He went further, shading Asake for allegedly turning his back on Olamide.
“The person you helped doesn’t care about you anymore,” he said. “You only gave me a verse, and I’m still more grateful than Asake, who got everything. If you had promoted me like you promoted him, I would have done even better.”

Mixed reactions from fans
Portable’s comments have sparked debates on social media. While some fans supported his claims, others accused him of chasing clout.
Many pointed out that Olamide has played a key role in launching the careers of several Nigerian artists, including Fireboy DML, Lil Kesh, and Adekunle Gold.
No response from Olamide or Asake
So far, neither Olamide nor Asake has responded to his statements. However, industry insiders believe the rapper’s track record speaks for itself.
As the drama unfolds, fans continue speculating about the rumoured fallout. Whether the allegations are true or not, one thing is clear—Portable never shies away from controversy.
