Senator Ned Nwoko has stirred conversations online after publicly confronting his wife, Nollywood actress Regina Daniels, over her work schedule and alleged lack of rest.
The lawmaker and businessman visited his wife on a movie set, where he expressed concern that she was overworking herself and not paying enough attention to her health.
In a video shared by Regina Daniels on Instagram, Nwoko was seen addressing members of the film crew, insisting that the actress needed more rest.
“My point is from her not resting,” the senator told the production team, making it clear that he was worried about his wife’s welfare while balancing family responsibilities and acting commitments.
The exchange took a more personal turn when Regina’s mother, veteran actress Rita Daniels, intervened. She advised Nwoko to settle the matter privately with his wife instead of raising it in public.
However, the senator responded by revealing a recurring issue at home. According to him, Regina often reminded him during arguments that he was “not her father.”
“Oh, she will now tell me, look, you are not my father,” Nwoko said in the video. “I swear to God. She said you are not my father. And I said, I’m your husband.”
