Nollywood comic actor Ganiyu Kehinde Morufu, popularly known as Ijoba Lande, has opened up about his troubled marriage and fears for his safety.
In a recent video shared on his YouTube page, he alleged that his estranged wife, Muyibat, had multiple affairs with men in the entertainment industry, some of whom hold powerful connections.
Lande claimed that his ex-wife repeatedly denied him intimacy while engaging in extramarital relationships. He described the emotional and psychological toll he endured before she finally left their marriage.
Pain and betrayal
Recounting his ordeal, Lande said his wife made his life unbearable. He accused her of provoking him intentionally, hoping he would react violently. However, he insisted that he never laid a hand on her.
“Before my wife moved out, she made sure I suffered. She would do things on purpose to push me into hitting her, but I never did. It is not easy for a man to raise his hand against a woman he truly loves,” he said.
Despite the pain, Lande admitted that he still wanted to save the marriage. He endured the mistreatment, hoping things would change. However, his wife’s actions only deepened his heartbreak.
Infidelity allegations
The actor revealed that his wife frequently refused him intimacy, claiming her hormones were imbalanced. Yet, she seemed to have no such issues with other men outside their marriage.
“My wife always told me her hormones weren’t working whenever I asked for intimacy. But suddenly, her hormones were working fine for men outside our marriage. I will always fear women,” he said.

He also recalled an incident at their child’s naming ceremony, where one of his wife’s male friends openly disrespected him.
“At my child’s naming ceremony, a male friend of my wife showed up. They danced together, and he even had the audacity to tap her on the butt in my presence,” he lamented.
Fear for his safety
Lande expressed deep concern for his life, stating that some of the men involved with his ex-wife were powerful figures in the industry. He believes speaking out could put him in danger.
“If I start naming those who slept with my wife, I may not make it home. Some of them are highly influential,” he said.
His revelations have sparked conversations online, with many fans expressing sympathy for his ordeal. However, some have urged him to move on and focus on his career rather than dwell on the past.
Lande’s confessions highlight the struggles many public figures face in their personal lives. While his story continues to unfold, it remains uncertain if he will take further action or if more details will emerge.
